As I have loved you.................... Finish the phrase! :)

I am so grateful for my Savior and that He loves me and everyone on this earth!
I once heard this description of love:
Love is spelled T-I-M-E.
The best way to let someone know you love them is to give them some of your time!

You can also:
Say nice thing to them.
Give service.
Simple gifts.
Hugs!

As I am have loved you, Love one another.

Love!!!

Our Heavenly Father Loves Us

Before this life we lived with a Heavenly Father!
This is so amazing to me! We are His children! He loves us so much and wants us to be happy and return to live with Him! He gave us this earth to live on and learn on! The beauty of the Earth is of Him and from Him.

Behold, the Lord hath created the aearth that it should bebinhabited; and he hath created his children that they should possess it.

Just like any parent Heavenly Father wants us to talk to Him!
So we have prayer. We show love to Him by good actions like praying and keeping His commandments.
When we obey Him we get closer to Him and vice versa.

Heavenly Father is on our team! He is our friend and personal supporter. He is the perfect listener and the wisest counselor.

If its been awhile give Him a call. If you have already spoke to Him today do it again.
He loves you! Pray!
Love as always,

Christmas

As we, missionaries, celebrated Christmas we shared this scripture with people that we visited.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I am so grateful for my Savior and celebrating his birth this week! I have been so blessed and am truly grateful for Him.
He is the reason for the season! And should be worshiped and respected every season!
I love my Savior so much! I love serving Him!

Scripture power!

Since I have been on my mission, I have gained a greater love for the SCRIPTURES!
I learn from them everyday.
The stories have become so real to me and the verses hit home so much more! I have grown and been blessed by the scriptures so much. I know from past experience that scripture study can be boring or tiring. But I also know from my current experience that it can be amazing!

Wherever you are regarding scripture reading, if it is boring or amazing, I invite you to pray and thank Heavenly Father for allowing us to have His words and teachings and then go and open these glorious books up! I know that you will find a verse that sticks out to you.

A new way I have recently enjoyed them is pay attention to the language and then imagining the situation in my head. This may sound crazy but I have actually laughed a few times just because I can really relate to these scriptural people!

I love the scriptures and study them anywhere, literally! It is such a blessing to have them on our mobile devices as well!

John 5: 39 aSearch the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which btestify of me.

A scripture a day pushes satan away!

Love you all!

Where do you stand?

I loved this video so much because when we stand with God we are blessed! Even when CHOOSING THE RIGHT can be difficult the greatest blessings come from it.

And if you need a friend to stand with, you can always count on US the missionaries!

Jesus, Once of Humble Birth!

Today was our Mission Christmas Conference!

We learned so much regarding our Savior.
I am so excited to post some of beautiful testimonies that were shared.

Our Mission President, President Riggs, discussed the idea of our Savior being born into such lowly circumstances and how that was crucial to the atonement.

By going be all things the Savior was able to LIFT all things. He was born into the most humble of circumstances and that was a tender mercy from our Father in Heaven.
Never could there be a more approachable being than Jesus Christ because of such His meek and humble birth.

Presidents wife, Sister Riggs, shared.

I would have loved to watch Mary and Joseph accomplish their incredible calling of raising the Savior. I am so grateful for a Savior who I owe everything.

I am so grateful for my Savior! I am so blessed to be serving as a representative of Him. I invite everyone and anyone to pray and ask to feel His love. I know He will bless you and help you exercise His atonement.

Yours truly,
Sister Schramm

The Blessings of paying tithing.

I have a friend who I love so much!
She was recently learning about paying tithing.
She told us that tithing is really easy to pay when the money is there, but not easy at all when there isn't money.
This year has been really slow for her husband at work and they were sure they wouldn't be able to pay next months rent.
Her husband and her were discussing this situation. Her husband told her regardless of the money they had or didn't they were going to pay tithing.

So he did.

She prayed consistently for their money matters to work out. Still she didn't know how they would.
She told us her doubt in paying tithing and expressed she didn't have a testimony of it. We encouraged her that it was the right thing to do and to continue in prayer.

The next day she was contacted by the residents office.
They informed her that her husband and her had over paid rent and it was covered clear into the middle of February.
She was floored! Knowing that she didn't over pay immediately she recognized the hand of God in her life at that moment.
She told us that she now KNOWS that paying tithing is so important and that whatever they earn, even if meager means, they will pay tithing!

The miracle doesn't stop there folks.

Her husband has also recently had two great job offers!

I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and is truly involved in the details of our lives.
When we keep the commands God gives us blessings.

And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and ahappy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are bblessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out cfaithful to the end they are received into dheaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.

Also Study the scriptures they are pure gold!
Love,
Sister Schramm

I am grateful for Mary, the mother of Christ.

I have two favorite songs that I listen to around Christmas.
The first one is
A Baby Changes Everything by Faith Hill
The second
Mary Let Me Hold Her Baby (a Forgotten Carol)

I love these songs! They talk about Mary, Christs mother and Christ himself.

I am so grateful for the sacrifices and difficulties that Mary faced so that our Savior could be born into to this world and complete the Atonement.

This video helps to illustrates her faith and love towards God and the calling He gave her.

How Great Thou Art!

Have you ever looked to the sky at night and marveled at the stars? Have you ever seen a beautiful sunset and felt relief or peace? Does a cool breeze or a simple misty rain bless you to feel your surroundings?

All these things and more are from God. He and His son, Jesus Christ love us so much that they have given us this beautiful world to live in. In Psalms 8:3-9 we see that though we are human we are the most important creatures to God. He loves us.

 When I aconsider thy bheavens, the cwork of thy fingers, thedmoon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is aman, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou bvisitest him?
For thou hast made him a little alower than the bangels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have adominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
 All asheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoeverpasseth through the paths of the seas.
Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
